P3 Project: Fredericton – Moncton Highway (1997 – 2000; 2016 – Present)

Acted as local counsel to New Brunswick Highway Corporation in all aspects of the initial $747 million project in 1997, including the request for qualifications, request for proposals and evaluation of proposals, drafting legislation, the design, build, finance, operations, maintenance and all other project agreements, loan documentation and opinions for the Toll Based Debt and Lease Based Debt. We were also involved in the documentation necessary to remove the tolls in 2000.
