Offshore Gas Processing Platform Decommissioning, De-installation and In-shore Re-delivery for “Green Recycling” (2020)
On March 1st, 2020, SBM Offshore, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, SBM Deep Panuke, S.A. and SBM Nova Scotia Contractors Inc., commenced the highly-technical, environmentally-sensitive, regulatorily complex and multi-faceted final decommissioning, de-installation and in-shore transportation of its Deep Panuke offshore gas production field centre (PFC) which had been installed in medium depth waters off of Nova Scoria’s eastern coastline in 2013.
