About Noah

Noah’s practice is focused in the areas of maritime law, energy and natural resources, insurance defence and general litigation. Noah represents insurers in a variety of contexts, with a particular focus on admiralty and shipping, motor vehicle accidents and professional liability claims.  He also offers a range of commercial and transactional services, particularly in the marine sector. These services include negotiating charterparties and financing the purchase and sale of vessels.

During his law degree, Noah received a number of academic awards, including the Davies Ward Phillips LLP Prize (2020) for the highest combined marks in Business Associations, Commercial Law and Taxation I and the Elkanah Rafuse Prize in Admiralty Law (2019) for the highest standing in Maritime Law and Practice. He was also selected as Valedictorian for the Schulich School of Law Class of 2020.

Noah is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society and the Canadian Bar Association.

Originally from Maine, Noah enjoys exploring the trails and coast of Nova Scotia. His coastal upbringing and interest in international politics led to a passion for the global ocean industry.
