Monique is the Business Development Coordinator for our Halifax office. In this role, Monique acts as a connector between the firm and its lawyers, clients, prospective new clients and industry associations. She manages sponsorship requests, organizes and supports client events, and seeks new opportunities to build and grow relationships for the firm.

Before joining McInnes Cooper, Monique had several marketing, sales and business development roles in various industries such as home heating, aerospace and defense and social media software. Born and raised here in Halifax, she also enrolled and successfully completed her undergraduate degree in Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University where she gained valuable work experience through their co-op program. Her firm roots in the province and background with local businesses provides her with unique connections and a drive to build the local economy in Halifax.

Off the clock, Monique enjoys spending time with friends and family, keeping up with the latest reality tv shows or planning her next trip abroad!
