Liza is an Associate in our Halifax office with a practice focused in the areas of litigation and insurance defence.

Before joining McInnes Cooper, Liza was with a general practice firm where she focused primarily in the areas of personal injury and residential real estate. Liza’s experience working in a general practice firm allows her to advise clients on a variety of areas of law, solving problems pragmatically and providing her clients with knowledgeable, candid advice. She has represented clients in Small Claims Court, Provincial Court and Supreme Court.

With a passion for sports, Liza has played rugby for most of her life, on teams at the club, provincial, and university level. She played rugby while attending Concordia University, and was recognized as an Academic All-Canadian for her strong athletic and academic performance. Liza still enjoys the game and she currently plays for the Valley Rugby Union. She loves staying active by running and going to the gym.
