Lauren has a general litigation practice with a particular interest in insurance defence, estate litigation and immigration litigation. In her estate practice, she helps clients navigate the complex process of estate litigation in matters such as the passing of accounts. Lauren also supports immigration matters before the federal court, including judicial review applications. While articling with the firm, Lauren gained a range of experience in litigation matters, including before the Small Claims Court, the Court of King’s Bench and the Federal Court.
During law school, Lauren worked with the John Howard Society of Fredericton on a pilot project to establish a legal information clinic to connect unhoused individuals with legal resources. She also edited the law review, and had a publication published in the Manitoba Law Journal on the topic of Evidence obtained from personal devices.
Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys her time by painting, tending to her vegetable garden and many house plants, and exploring outdoors.
