Lauren has a civil litigation practice with a primary focus on personal injury and insurance defence. She defends insurance claims involving a wide range of general insurance liability, including motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, property, product liability, and commercial general liability claims. She also has experience with professional liability defence, employment law, estate litigation, and bankruptcy litigation.
Lauren obtained her law degree at the University of New Brunswick, during which time she completed an internship with the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. She has represented clients at all levels of Court in New Brunswick.
Lauren is focused on providing efficient, cost-effective, quality solutions to her clients, and makes use of alternative dispute resolution options whenever appropriate.
Lauren is a member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers, Saint John Law Society, Law Society of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia Barrister’s Society, and the Canadian Bar Association. She has been actively involved in the Canadian Bar Association throughout her legal career, and is currently the President of the New Brunswick Branch of the Canadian Bar Association. She also does pro bono work for local not-for-profit organizations.
