About Kathryn

Kathryn is a skilled research and litigation lawyer at McInnes Cooper’s Fredericton office, bringing extensive experience to her diverse legal practice.

Her primary areas of focus include Insurance Defence, where she offers strategic and effective counsel to clients facing complex legal issues, and Energy and Natural Resources with a focus on Aboriginal and Indigenous law, particularly with respect to consultation and engagement. Additionally, Kathryn also has experience in administrative law, managing a broad spectrum of regulatory and governance matters, and in complex commercial litigation involving shareholder disputes.

Before joining McInnes Cooper, Kathryn was a litigation lawyer at a regional firm where she refined her litigation skills and conducted extensive research on highly complex legal topics including jurisdictional issues, commercial disputes, and Aboriginal and Indigenous law.

Beyond her professional life, Kathryn is a firm believer in the importance of community. She actively contributes to the development of high-performance athletes by coaching provincial-level baseball and is a coach development mentor for coaches in training.
