About Chris

Chris is a Partner in the firm’s Halifax office whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities law. He regularly advises clients on the purchase and sale of businesses and various other corporate and commercial transactions; the negotiation and drafting of credit, security, lease, license, and other agreements; the organization and formation of corporations, partnerships, and joint ventures; and general corporate, regulatory, and governance matters.

Chris is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the Law Society of Ontario, and the Canadian Bar Association. He is also an associate of the American Bar Association. Chris previously served as Chair of the Board of Directors of Feed Nova Scotia and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and can often be found at the football field, basketball court, or soccer pitch with his three active children. Chris is himself an avid runner and cyclist and enjoys playing soccer and hockey in his downtime.
