About Alexandra

Alexandra is a corporate lawyer, primarily supporting clients in the energy and natural resources sector. Her practice spans environmental law, general corporate and advising on ESG reporting requirements. Alexandra worked as a summer law student at McInnes Cooper and continued with the firm throughout articling, gaining significant experience within the renewables space, particularly in offshore wind projects. While articling, she also seconded to an energy company’s in-house legal team, dealing with legal matters in the electricity industry. She is eager to expand her practice into Project Development.

While in law school, Alexandra was a member of the Environmental Law Society and President of the International Law Society. She also undertook pro bono work through Pro Bono Students Canada in collaboration with Sexual Violence New Brunswick. In her final year of law school she published a legal information handbook in collaboration with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind . In her undergrad, Alexandra was a member of both StFX’s varsity soccer team and varsity track and field team.

Following varsity soccer and track and field, Alexandra continues to run and play soccer for joy and health. She is passionate about practicing yoga and is a certified yoga instructor. She also enjoys going retreating to her family’s cottage and sailing.
