About Abigail

Abbey is a Litigation Associate at McInnes Cooper in Charlottetown, where she handles a diverse range of legal matters, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, and regulatory issues. She has represented clients before multiple courts, including the PEI Supreme Court, Nova Scotia Supreme Court, Small Claims Courts, and various regulatory appeal boards. She has represented clients in both trials and out-of-court resolutions, effectively navigating complex legal matters to secure favorable outcomes in the courtroom and beyond.

Abbey’s focus is on providing sound advice to a wide range of clients, from small local businesses to large corporate entities, particularly in the areas of regulatory and financial services.

Outside of her legal practice, Abbey is deeply involved in the firm’s community and business initiatives. She serves as Chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility team, and is also an active member of the Business Development Group and Co-Chair of the Social Committee, contributing to the firm’s broader culture and growth.
