It is with great honour that McInnes Cooper accepted the Outstanding Business Award from the PEI Association of Newcomers to Canada at their annual general meeting October 26th at the Murphy’s Community Centre.
The PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada (PEIANC), is a registered non-profit which provides short-term settlement services, and long-term inclusion and community integration programs for new immigrants in the province of Prince Edward Island.
Regional Lead Partner for McInnes Cooper, Gary Scales accepted the award. “McInnes Cooper recognizes that the strength of our province is tied to the success and diversity of all who choose to live here. Working with PEIANC has enabled us to assist newcomers as they develop skills and integrate with our communities. Through our mentorship and pro bono programs, we’ve gained great satisfaction from helping immigrants build their new lives in PEI. And as an organization, PEIANC is an exceptional partner. Their multifaceted programs are fundamentally improving the economic and cultural tapestry of our province. We are deeply honoured to have been nominated by them for the 2015 ANC Outstanding Business Award,” said Scales.
This recognition is shared by all of our team at McInnes Cooper, and we look forward to continuing our great relationship with PEIANC and supporting this important work for our community.
