John Green, QC, Joins Nalcor Board of Directors upon resignation from McInnes Cooper

We are pleased to report that John Green, QC, has accepted an appointment as chair of Nalcor’s board of directors. The government of Newfoundland and Labrador announced the appointment of an interim board on Friday afternoon, April 22, 2016.
McInnes Cooper shares this news with mixed emotions. John resigned his role as counsel with the firm prior to accepting this appointment. John has ensured smooth transition of client work to experienced lawyers in our St. John’s office. John will be missed by everyone at the firm, and we wish him every success as he takes on this important and challenging leadership role.
John will be a tremendous asset to the Nalcor organization. His experience within the energy and natural resources sector – and in providing counsel in governance and other relevant areas of law – will prove invaluable in his new role.
