McInnes Cooper is pleased to announce the appointment of Donna MacEwen as Queen’s Counsel (QC).
The QC designation is awarded annually by the committee chaired by the Chief Justice of New Brunswick, with the Attorney General of New Brunswick and the President of the LSNB rounding out its composition. The requirements provide that nominees must be unanimously recommended by the committee. The distinction of Queen’s Counsel is conferred upon experienced lawyers in recognition of their commitment to the principles of the profession and contributions to the wellness of their communities.
Donna is the Regional Lead Partner for New Brunswick and practices in the areas of intellectual property and insurance litigation. With extensive experience in both of her areas, she has represented clients and insurers before all levels of courts in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
Congratulations to Donna on this well-deserved appointment.
