McInnes Cooper is proud to announce that Halifax lawyer Chris MacIntyre was named Chair of the Board of Directors for Feed Nova Scotia at the society’s Annual General Meeting held on June 23rd, 2017. Chris has been a director of Feed Nova Scotia for the past three years, during which time he has also served as Chair of the Governance Committee and Vice-Chair of the Board.
As Chair, Chris will be responsible for ensuring that the Board adheres to its own rules and procedures, and that Board meetings and discussions are open, efficient, and focused on key issues. His duties will include chairing meetings of the Board, making governance-related decisions in accordance with Board policy, and speaking on behalf of the Board as and when necessary.
