Lower Churchill Development (2007 – Present)

Acted as external counsel to Newfoundland Hydro and Nalcor on the development of the $10 billion plus hydro-electric development of Lower Churchill (Muskrat Falls, Maritime Link, etc.), including design, construction, environment, regulatory, corporate organization, labour and employment, financing operations and maintenance.  In addition to taking the lead in many aspects of this project, McInnes Cooper teams with other Canadian external legal counsel advising on this project.
