Kevin Kiley is the firm’s Managing Partner. He is a leading commercial litigator with a broad practice focused on obtaining results for our clients wherever their issues arise.

He provides strategic advice and representation to businesses of all sizes in a variety of commercial disputes. He acts for financial institutions in matters involving the enforcement of commercial claims and the provision of advice regarding insolvency related matters. Kevin advises investment dealers and advisors in regulatory and securities industry matters including defending claims from individual clients and representation before provincial securities commissions, the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada.

Kevin also represents contractors, sub-contractors, construction managers and owners in construction matters such as claims for delay, defective work, mechanics’ liens, deficiencies, inadequate design and negligent representation.

Kevin is active within our firm, the profession and his community. He serves in executive positions with the Canadian Bar Association at both the provincial and national level. He has been active at all levels in many non-profit and community based organizations.

Kevin is recognized for his corporate and commercial litigation work in Best Lawyers in Canada and the Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory. Lexpert® also recognizes his contributions to the areas of banking and construction law for 2019.
