Erin has a practice focused in litigation, particularly insurance defence, and labour and employment law. She advises insurers with respect to all aspects of related litigation, from trial preparation and discovery through to representation in court. Erin also represents employers on general labour and employment matters, including contracts, terminations and employee discipline. Erin’s practice also extends to residential real estate matters. She has assisted with the preparation of purchase and sale agreements, reviewed title searches and advised on all aspects of real estate transactions.

At law school, Erin was a member of Pro Bono Students Canada, participating in the Schulich School of Law Wills Project. She was also involved with Dalhousie Law Community Outreach, helping raise money for a number of Halifax-based charities. One of the reasons she enjoys the law is for its ability to enable her to contribute to her community in a meaningful way.

During her undergrad, Erin earned the Honourable Justice Mark R. MacGuigan Memorial Scholarship and the Joseph A. Ghiz Memorial Scholarship, which recognized her academic standing and intent to pursue a career in law. She was also very active in case competitions, having participated in the Network of International Business Schools Case Competition (runner-up) and the Dalhousie Ethics in Action Case Competition (2014 champion, 2015 runner-up).

Erin is a member of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and the Canadian Bar Association. When not in the office, she enjoys doing yoga, travelling or discussing a good book with her book club.
