Summer Law Student & Articling Opportunities
At McInnes Cooper, we recognize that your professional development is an essential element of becoming a trusted lawyer. Our formal mentorship program will provide you with access to practical hands-on work while exposing you to the business aspects of a legal practice. Our continuing legal education and pro bono programs will further support your development in your legal areas of interest. Although we are considered a larger law firm on the East Coast, we organize ourselves into smaller teams to nurture collaboration and mentorship within our firm. This team model ensures you have the guidance necessary to build a successful legal career.
McInnes Cooper is currently recruiting for 1st year Law Students in ALL offices and 2L and 3L students in some of our offices.
Our offices hiring 2L and 3L students will be confirmed soon, please check back for more details.

- Application Deadline – October 11th
- 1st Interviews – November 13th and/or 14th (virtual)
- 2nd interviews – February 3rd and 4th (in-person)
